Financial Policy

Stonecliff Animal Clinic is committed to providing you with excellent care at a reasonable cost. Our staff is a group of highly trained professionals, and our hospital is fully equipped to handle any emergency. Many procedures and treatments that we perform daily are very complex, and the care our patients receive is gentle and compassionate. Our veterinarians are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for emergencies ranging from minor to life-threatening that won’t wait until your regular veterinary office is open.  During these off hours we can provide continuous, round the clock care for a critical patient unlike many veterinary hospitals in the area. This type of service does come with a price. Our services are more then a routine veterinary hospital that doesn’t provide these extras, but remember, we are always there and you can always count on us.

All out-patient services are payable in full at the time of the visit. If your pet is hospitalized, we will provide a treatment plan that is often a range of costs. Because many conditions or injuries are hard to access at admittance, the course of treatment along with the cost can be hard to predict. You will be asked to leave a deposit equal to the lower end of this range. Payment of the balance is due at the time of discharge. During your pet’s medical or surgical stay, if more care is needed than was anticipated at admissions, the cost of this additional care will be discussed with you and the balance is due when your patient is discharged from the hospital.

We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We can also provide information and enrollment for a low interest credit card called Care Credit. Qualification and enrollment can be done in a few minutes at the hospital.
