Radiographs

Once stable, radiographs were then taken and it was determined she had an open fracture of the right radius and ulna. The classification of an open fracture means the bone fragments had penetrated the skin, and the wound and fractured bones were considered contaminated. The radiograph also shows she has a closed (not penetrating the skin) fracture of the left radius and ulna.
