Receptionists

Tina Jones - Receptionist
Tina Hadlock - ReceptionistTina worked at the Upper Valley Humane Society as an adoption counselor, and kennel and cat care technician. She was also a part of the Cross Rivendell trail crew. She helped clear a 38 mile community trail running from Mt. Cube in Orford, New Hampshire, to a flag pole in Vershire, Vermont. Tina is a long-time resident of the Upper Valley, having grown up in the area. She graduated from Rivendell High School. As a student she was the co-captain of the girls soccer team. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, gardening, rock climbing, photography, scrap-booking, Positive-based dog training, spending time with family and friends and volunteering. She currently resides in North Haverhill, New Hampshire. She lives with her husband Ken and their animals. Tina and Ken have two brown tiger cats named Killian and Rugbee, an Abyssinian mix cat named Cheyanne, and an Ocicat mix cat named Gwenevive, An AKC German Short Hair Pointer named Hemi and a Rescued Mutt named Austello. Being a receptionist at S.A.C. is a position she has always dreamed of.

Casey Kelly - Receptionist
Casey is the daughter of Jodi and Dr. Dan, and has been working at the hospital since the day she was born (almost in the hospital). Many of you remember Casey riding on Jodi's back during appointments or more memorably during cow surgeries when she would shout out directions to her father! Casey enjoys being a receptionist, and if her parents let her she would be bringing home every puppy and kitten that came through the door. When Casey is not working at the hospital she enjoys eventing Gollo her 16.3hh Oldenburg, playing Lacrosse (her favorite) or hanging out with her friends.

Carla Fields - Receptionist
Carla FieldsCarla worked as a Right of Way Agent and Electrical Construction Designer for NSTAR until retirement in June of 2002. She then moved to New Hampshire from Cape Cod and began working part time at SAC. Carla jokes that she has to get her "puppy time" in each day, and she is not just kidding. Her laugh is contagious and we can always find her if there is a litter of puppies in the building. She likes working in her retirement "helping all ages of animals, kittens and puppies to mature adults. This has been my dream job, I always told my friends that I would pat puppies for a living when I retired and that's just what I'm doing." Carla makes each patient feel at ease, and tries to act as a surrogate mother when they're in the hospital. When she is not at the SAC she divides her time between a husband and Chopper (11yr. Mix), Daisy (4yr lab), and Diesel (18mon lab).

Sandy Horton - Receptionist
Organization and attention to detail are only a few of the qualities we so value in Sandy Horton. Sandy was a librarian in Norwich for many years and decided to come work for SAC. Though many days the noise level is nothing close to a library, Sandy likes her role at the hospital, and finds the variety in any given day exciting! When Sandy is not at the hospital she enjoys growing orchids and is a member of the Vermont Orchid Society.

Gloria Mann - Receptionist
Welcome Gloria! Gloria is an exciting addition to the SAC reception staff. Gloria brings with her 25 years of experience working for the Bank of America. Gloria will be working as a receptionist, greeting clients and their pets, answering telephones and doing whatever is needed of her. I'm sure you will all agree when you meet her that she is a genuinely kind and caring person. Sometimes this is rare to find in your daily travels, but stop in to SAC soon and meet Gloria. I'm sure you'll feel the same way!
