Treatment Room This is the hub of the hospital. The doctors exam every hospitalized patient each day and this is the what this area is used for. Our dual treatment table has one side that is for wet procedures, and bathing animals. All of our dentals are performed here. On the other side is a "dry" table, where physical exams, blood draws and administering treatments can be done. The large open area also holds our Intensive Care Unit, kennels that can be constantly monitored while other procedures are going on. These special kennels are heated and have oxygen access for the most critical patient, or animals that are recovering from surgery. Recovering patients always have a nurse assigned to them. Her responsibility is to make the patient as comfortable as possible, reassure and help calm the patient as they come out of the anesthesia.
